MOMMIE  LETTERS- The Uncovering, is a stimulating, spellbinding, and thought-provoking evening of readings (with a Talk Back), from letters and poetry written by US born, Caribbean, and indigenous African men and women to their mothers - as they lived them from the ages of 0-12. This spoken word performance provides a brief look into how the effects of slavery and oppression can impact the relationships , child rearing  practices , and lives of families, mothers and their children.
